Shop online & have it delivered to your house.
From what I have read, your groceries go through fewer middlemen and you get fresher food. I have seen delivery charges as low as $6.95. Peapod is one online shopping & delivery service, but there are others in areas all over the country. Now superstore, Amazon, is trying their hand at discounted non-perishables

No way do I shop for groceries online! I’m too cheap. I suppose exotic hers and spices could be practical to find from a specialist. I could let someone else get staples, but I shop for fresh ingredients whenever possible.
