AKA “Fire” . . . Among Other Things

When the kids ask me what I’m making, a lot of times I say “I don’t know.  Something with ____.”  That was the case with this sweet dish.  It has a french toast flavor, with tiny cubes of cream cheese (rolled in cinnamon & sugar) and fresh blackberries.  My teenage daughter said it was “fire,”  and the naming began.  We tossed out names like French Crackberry (uh, no), Blackberry French Toast Cream Cheese Casserole (too long), Brad Pitt (cause he’s so yummy- I still like that one).  Read my recipe…

I Have Used All The Tomato Gifts!

I had 10 tomatoes left after making gazpacho. If you like gazpacho, let me know. I’ll post that recipe too. Back to my point, 10 tomatoes and a crockpot for my birthday.
