Another Microwave Miracle!

I had one banana. The baby wanted half of it, and of course, I couldn’t let the other half go to waste! Why just eat the other half when you can have banana bread in a couple of minutes?! Moist and delicious, this is a must try, so click on over to the recipe!

Let them eat cake!

Okay, so yeah, I’ve been kind of busy and didn’t have time to post this. Obviously, this was a Halloween treat, but would also make a yummy, non-traditional birthday cake. Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, chocolate fudge topping and vanilla ice cream are all you need! The chocolate graveyard stones were just a quick addition thrown together using a Wilton Chocolate mold.

The Perfect Side is Minutes Away.

My husband loves kettle chips, and they are amazingly simple to make right in your skillet.  You don’t need a lot of oil. You don’t have to peel any potatoes. And with the Oxo Good Grips Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer, perfect potato slices are quick and easy.  I used Yukon Gold potatoes because that’s what I had on hand.  I rinsed them leaving the skin on, sliced them on the thinnest setting #1 of the Oxo Good Grips Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer, and put them in my Copper Advantage Copper Base 12-Inch Skillet With Helper Handle with heated oil 1/4″ deep.  Then I fried them a couple of minutes on each side until crisp.  After cooking, I placed them on a paper towel-lined sheet and sprinkled with salt.
