Paying it Forward: Micki’s Morsels Receives Arte Y Pico Award.

To see the origin for Arte Y Pico, click on the picture or text link.  This award is given to blogs (5 at a time) based on their creativity, design, interesting material, and contribution to the blogging community, no matter what language.

I’m also in advertising (Harlow & Company, Inc.), so I love me some accolades!  Anyway, thank you to the award giver and one of my favorite bloggers, Intrepid, of Intrepid Ideas. This guy has his eyes wide open as he travels the world, snapping some photos, reflecting, and passing along precious bits for a life without regrets.

Since he already received the award, I won’t give it back to Intrepid, but CONTINUE READING FOR MY 5 PICKS…

My award picks follow (in alpha name order), and the instructions for passing on the award (should you wish to do so) are below the winners.

#1 AlwaysInIt is her blogger profile name, and the name so far seems appropriate.  In Always In It, you will find yourself addicted to reading about this woman as she searches for true love.  You’ll root for her as if she were a heroine in some romance novel, forgetting at times that she is a real person.  I’m predicting a book in her future, and I’ll be first in line to buy it.

#2 Angie at Cup of Snarky is always finding some humor in the world, from her “I love”/”I hate” features to the dead animals that adorn her kid’s preschool, Angie’s point of view is hilarious. In this blog’s short existence, she has already earned the Angry Clown Hell Award. Well, it is sort of an R-rated blog, but the award rules say “no matter what language,” so I’m thinking profanity is okay. Push out of your comfort zone and laugh a little.

#3 Anne at Cooking With Anne is super talented. Like me, she has a lot of kids with a wide age range. She cooks & posts wonderful recipes on a pretty site. What’s more to want? Well, she is super active in the blogging community and someone to admire. Rated E for everyone!

#4 Edson Dias at My Black & White Photgraphy gives you poetry in pictures.  The beautiful photographs are categorized, and sometimes there is explanation, but mostly, his pics speak for themselves.

#5 Melinda Roberts Tyler of the Melindaville Blog gives you beauty in speak.  Even though her posts are longer, I always find myself reading the whole thing.  Some people find humor in their troubled journey, but this ex-heroin addict’s straightforward talk is simply inspiring.

Now for the rules to pass along this award borrowed from Pentad’s explanation:

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language

2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

4. Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award. http://arteypico.blogspot.com/ (Ah, a little link love).
