Let them eat cake!
Okay, so yeah, I’ve been kind of busy and didn’t have time to post this. Obviously, this was a Halloween treat, but would also make a yummy, non-traditional birthday cake. Crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, chocolate fudge topping and vanilla ice cream are all you need! The chocolate graveyard stones were just a quick addition thrown together using a Wilton Chocolate mold.
Ice Cream Graveyard Cake
1-1/2 package chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos)
4 T. melted butter
2 qts. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 jar Hersheys fudge topping
Put cookies in Ziploc gallon bag in batches & crush. Empty enough crushed cookies into 9X13 pan to cover the bottom of pan. Pour melted butter over cookies and stir to coat. Gently press the cookie mixture into the bottom of the pan. Layer with 1/2 of ice cream. Top with 1/2 jar of fudge topping. Repeat ice cream/fudge layer. Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies. Freeze at least 3 hours.
