The Only Way To Eat Canned Pears!
I’m not a huge fan of canned anything, but necessity is the mother of invention! Lots of kids and baseball season leave me about 30 minutes to make dinner. This recipe is quick, easy, and I must say, canned pears taste gourmet with this recipe.
Pears Almondine
1 large can pears
3 T. melted butter
Brown Sugar
Sliced Almonds
Pour melted butter in 13X9 pan. Arrange pears, sliced side up in pan and sprinkle with brown sugar (about 1 tsp. per pear), then top with sliced almonds (about 1 tsp. per pear).
Place pan in oven on broil (oven rack should be one up from middle) until warm and almonds start to brown, about 10 minutes.
