AKA Matt Damon Bars.

I have, at times, crushed on Matt Damon…(note the alias above for this Praline Shortbread recipe). The best thing about this recipe is that you can change it up, and it will still be hot like Matt Damon. If you cook the topping less time, it will have more of a caramel consistency & flavor. If you cook it more, it will have more of a crystallized consistency and brown sugar flavor like pralines. Either way…yum! Read on for the recipe… (more…)

With Graham Cracker Crust.

Because the custard is not overly sweet, this goes perfectly in a graham cracker crust, and it saves time too. I make my own crust, but a store-bought crust would be fine too. After all, the filling will be the dominant flavor. You could also make this recipe into a banana cream pie by omitting the coconut and slicing a banana into the bottom of the crust before pouring in the filling.
