The Perfect Side is Minutes Away.

skillet chips
My husband loves kettle chips, and they are amazingly simple to make right in your skillet.  You don’t need a lot of oil. You don’t have to peel any potatoes. And with the Oxo Good Grips Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer, perfect potato slices are quick and easy.  I used Yukon Gold potatoes because that’s what I had on hand.  I rinsed them leaving the skin on, sliced them on the thinnest setting #1 of the Oxo Good Grips Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer, and put them in my Copper Advantage Copper Base 12-Inch Skillet With Helper Handle with heated oil 1/4″ deep.  Then I fried them a couple of minutes on each side until crisp.  After cooking, I placed them on a paper towel-lined sheet and sprinkled with salt.
