No lipstick on this pig.

I have to say, politics doesn’t often inspire me to cook, but the whole lipstick on a pig remark got me thinking about pork. This prime rib of pork atop a bed of greens with oranges, cranberries, chow mein noodles & sesame ginger dressing was a wonderful combination of textures and flavors that had the family raving. I actually served the salad on the side for most of the family, and served them some toasted french bread slices with warm brie. I know I always say this, but this is so easy. I actually felt like I was cheating….

A Family Favorite.

Butterfly Chops with Cooked Apples
You can cook everything at the same time, and be done in about 30 minutes. Like peanut butter and jelly, pork and apples simply “go together.” My kids will tell you that they don’t like pork, but they love this. The secret is to not overcook the pork. See recipe…
